My husband and I lost everything in the fires in Bastrop. We appreciate the offer from your stores. We will be covered, however we must rebuild. How long will the 25% offer last?

My brother was unfortunately not covered enough in the Bastrop fire. I saw you were requesting for gift certificate donations. What qualifications are needed and what might be available for those who might need extra assistance above the 25% discount or are you supplying a Charity with the furniture that I might need to contact to put our name on the list? I do have one Charity who said they had donated mattresses and if there are enough for people with families we might be able to get one of those, but other than that, we don’t have any good feelings about what is going to be available, so we may have to go other avenues and are trying to see what our options are. Bless you for your efforts!
We are not supplying any charities directly with furniture. We did make a monetary donation through Goodwill, they will keep all of the funds local and use them to distribute gift certificates for items at their stores.
As far as furniture, we are offering the 25% to fire victims. All they need to qualify is to show that they lived at an address affected by the fires (drivers license, copy of bill, etc.) We have a list of the affected addresses. To help out a specific person with furniture, you can purchase a gift certificate for them, in their name. They would then also be eligible for the discount.
