Furnish 123 at the Violet Crown Spring Festival

Last Saturday, May 7, Furnish 123 was fortunate enough to participate in the Violet Crown Spring Festival as a sponsor! Violet Crown Community Works is a nonprofit organization based in Austin, Texas, helping build and sustain community in Brentwood and Crestview by supporting neighborhood enhancement projects.

Violet Crown Festival

The Spring Festival featured arts and crafts vendors, family fun, children’s activities, live music, refreshments, and a very special event — the grand opening of the new farmer’s market: 6701 Burnet Road Market.

Shannon braved the heat!

The event benefited an excellent cause, too: Urban Patchwork. Urban Patchwork is a Violet Crown-based non-profit CSA (community-support agriculture) dedicated to making local, natural food affordable and accessible for all of Austin. It was such an honor to be a part of such a fun and exciting community event!

Live music

Stop by on Thursdays and Saturdays and support local farmers and artisans in Austin!
